Cambridge Lambretta has developed a £90 rear-brake kit for cable-operated Model D and LD machines. It replaces the existing brake cam with a new machined cam, brake arm and trunnion, plus a bracket that fits into the hub. The revised mechanism is designed to provide more brake travel and apply greater pressure to the brake.

CamLam says the conversion retains a factory-style appearance, without conspicuous modern hardware. It should also suit rod-operated brakes with some adaptation.
