Scooterworld 2026

Every classic scooter has a story. Perhaps it’s a Lambretta you’ve spent years restoring, a Vespa that’s been in the family for decades or an unusual machine that’s rarely seen outside your garage.

Whatever your pride and joy, why not give it the audience it deserves?

Scooter World will once again form part of the Classic Bike Guide Winter Classic, bringing scooter enthusiasts together alongside one of the country’s major early-season classic motorcycle events.

And the organisers are keen to hear from individual owners and scooter clubs who would like to be part of the action.

Scooter World returns to Newark

Taking place at Newark Showground, Nottinghamshire, on Saturday and Sunday, January 9–10, the Winter Classic promises a packed weekend of two-wheeled nostalgia.

With thousands of motorcycles on display, trade stands, autojumble, restoration projects, stage talks, live fire-ups and plenty of opportunities to hunt down parts and spares, there’s something for every classic two-wheel enthusiast.

But for scooter fans, Scooter World offers a particular attraction, celebrating the machines, people and culture that make the scooter scene so special.

From Italian classics to interesting rarities, it’s an opportunity to share a passion for scooters with fellow enthusiasts and visitors alike.

Your scooter could be part of the show

Whether you’ve completed a painstaking restoration, preserved an original survivor or created something unique, Scooter World would love to hear from you.

You don’t need to own a concours-winning machine to express an interest. Sometimes the most fascinating scooters are those with unusual histories, interesting modifications or a restoration story worth sharing.

Perhaps you’ve got a beautifully restored Lambretta Series 2 or 3, an early Vespa, a distinctive custom scooter or something altogether more unusual.

Rather than leaving it tucked away in the garage throughout January, why not bring it along and let other enthusiasts enjoy it?

Scooter clubs – get involved!

Scooter World is also an opportunity for scooter clubs to come together and showcase their members’ machines.

A club display can celebrate a particular marque, model, era or simply the shared enthusiasm that keeps the scooter scene thriving.

Whether you’re part of a long-established scooter club or a smaller group of friends who regularly ride together, why not consider putting together a display?

It’s a great way to meet other enthusiasts, promote your club and introduce visitors to the people and machines behind the scooter scene.

More than just scooters

As part of the Classic Bike Guide Winter Classic, Scooter World visitors will also have access to the wider event.

Expect a huge variety of classic motorcycles, restoration inspiration, trade stands, indoor and outdoor autojumble, stage talks, special guests and live fire-ups.

For anyone with a passion for classic two-wheelers, it’s a great way to kick off the 2027 show season.
