VESPA has revealed one of its most exclusive models ever – the limited-edition Edizione Ottantesimo – to mark the scooter’s 80th anniversary.
Based on the Vespa GTS 310, the special edition is limited to just 1,946 individually numbered examples, a tribute to the year the first Vespa rolled off the production line. It was unveiled in Rome during the brand’s “80 Years of an Icon” celebrations and is available to order exclusively through Vespa’s official website.

The Edizione Ottantesimo celebrates one of the Vespa’s defining features – its all-steel monocoque body. A distinctive metallic grey finish is inspired by raw steel, complemented by green detailing on the saddle, wheel rims and anniversary graphics. A removable body-coloured rear seat cover gives the scooter a single-seat sporting appearance while retaining full two-person approval.

Every scooter carries a numbered commemorative plaque beneath the seat and comes supplied with a matching anniversary helmet. Buyers also receive an exclusive Assouline coffee-table book celebrating eight decades of Vespa history with archive images and stories from the Piaggio collection.

Power comes from Vespa’s 310 hpe single-cylinder engine, producing 25hp, making it the most powerful engine ever fitted to a production Vespa. Standard equipment includes full LED lighting, a five-inch TFT display with Vespa MIA smartphone connectivity, keyless ignition, ABS and ASR traction control.
A colour-matched 36-litre top box is available as an accessory, alongside the usual range of genuine Vespa luggage racks, screens and styling options.
The Vespa Edizione Ottantesimo is available to order exclusively online via the official Vespa website.
