In the early days of scooter racing during the 1970s there were many great riders and characters within the sport, none more prolific than Chas de Lacy. As a member of the Bromley Innocents scooter club and the JJM race team, he would go on to become a champion. The distinctive paint schemes of his competition Lambretta a forerunner of today’s modern street racer. His story is told in full, in the March edition of Scootering magazine.
