Scooterists in Lincolnshire and beyond are mourning the loss of Frank Stones, a much-loved member of the scene and one of the driving forces behind Generations Scooter Club.

Back in 2002, Frank helped found the club alongside his long-time friend, fellow DJ Andy Robinson., and Les Johnson of Mod Squad, and remained a valued part of it ever since. He first got into scooters in 1969 and stayed with the scene for more than five decades, only easing off when his knees finally told him it was time.
Frank was a familiar face at scooter events over the years, with favourites including the Isle of Wight, Brighton, and trips to Goathland for the full Heartbeat experience.

Known as a true gent and a gentle giant, Frank will be missed by everyone who knew him, but most of all by his wife Emelda, his children, grandchildren, family, and close friends. After a brave fight against illness, he passed away in May with his loved ones by his side.
