The hugely popular Herefordshire on the Edge celebrates its 10th birthday…
This unique, non-competitive event, taking place on Sunday, June 29, is open to scooters, motorcycles and three-wheelers made before Jan 1, 2001, and is organised by the Herefordshire and Mid-Wales section of the Vintage Motor Cycle Club.
Entrants can choose to start at either Whitchurch & Ganarew Memorial Hall (close to Symonds Yat) or the Lion at Leintwardine (South Shropshire) and must plan and then follow a route to visit as many as possible of the 28 designated waypoints spaced at intervals in and around the borders of Herefordshire – one of Britain’s most beautiful and least visited locations.

For the more adventurous, six of these waypoints will have an optional location on non-damaging, unsurfaced legal rights of way. These will be passable on road tyres.
In 2025, 115 machines represented by 33 different marques were entered, including some rare and beautiful models. The smallest bike was a “Learner legal” 50cc Bluroc Bullit, and the oldest a 1920 Lea & Francis “V” twin.

Two wheels, three wheels, big wheels or small wheels – this really is an event for all types and sizes of vintage and classic machinery.
