Make Your Mark
Make Your Mark exists to support mental wellbeing within the motorcycling and scootering community… a community often misunderstood, yet rich in compassion, connection and shared experience. Built by riders, for riders, the charity champions kindness, safe spaces and meaningful connection through Motorbiker Acts of Random Kindness (MARKs).
These small but powerful acts take many forms: a quiet conversation at a café, a check-in with someone who may be struggling, or simply offering a welcoming space to be heard. Together, they help break down stigma and reinforce a simple truth that sits at the heart of the charity’s work: you are not alone.

This ethos runs through everything Make Your Mark delivers… from mental wellbeing first aid and safeguarding training, to defibrillators in biker-friendly cafés and the growth of local wellbeing hubs. One of the most visible expressions of this community-led approach is the Bike & Brew Passport, which brings riders together through the shared joy of riding, stopping and connecting.

Previously, Bike & Brew focused solely on the motorcycling community. Through the involvement of Vintage Metals, the initiative now actively welcomes the UK scootering community, recognising that scooter riders face the same challenges and wellbeing pressures.
Get Involved
The Bike & Brew Passport encourages exploration by guiding riders to over 250 participating biker-friendly cafés across Wales, the West Midlands, the Cotswolds and beyond. Riders collect stamps as they visit venues, turning the passport into a record of journeys taken, places discovered and connections made. The Passport runs from April 1 to September 30, 2026, costs £10 as a charitable donation, and can be collected from all participating cafés — including Vintage Metals’ Piston Grind Café, as well as www.makeyourmark.co.uk. The map of the participating café’s (296 this year!) across the UK can be found using the Bike and Brew google map link which can he be found here.
The scheme also includes an end-of-season raffle. This year, Vintage Metals is sponsoring Bike & Brew with a standout prize: a matte black Lambretta Series 2 scooter, featuring over 2000 hours of hand engraving.

Vintage Metals has also introduced RideAssure, a competitively priced breakdown, recovery, AND repair after-care product BUT this is no ordinary after product. Three years running, the winner of “The Motor Ombudsman customer service awards” is fully backed by an AA breakdown service, which is competent in 2-wheeler mechanics. RideAssure covers UK and European breakdown, roadside recovery and repairs, parts and labour, and wear-and-tear protection up to 60,000 miles for any age vehicle, supported by fast claims and a nationwide garage network and home start support. Bike & Brew passport holders also receive £50 off RideAssure, redeemable via a QR code inside the passport. More information can be found at: www.vintagemetals.co.uk/rideassure

Together, Make Your Mark and Vintage Metals show what’s possible when kindness is matched with practical action. Because when riders support one another, the journey becomes about far more than the ride.
