Dazzle for sale – classic custom scooter
By: Andy Gillard
Customised scooters really came of age in the 1980s, and one which many cite as raising the bar was Dazzle.
Dazzle's creator, Jeremy Howlett, recently discovered his old scooter (or rather his dad found it lying in an old shed or lock-up garage). The bodywork is in pretty good condition, considering its age. Due to personal circumstances Jeremy has decided to put the scooter up for sale via that well known internet auction site.
First up were the panels, with a starting price of £1500 and an auction expiry date of December 8. Not cheap, but they are unique and if someone really wants them, now you know where to look. Search 'Dazzle Lambretta' to find those and other parts.
If the winner wants to contact us here at Scootering we'd love to know what your plans for the parts are. editorial@scootering.com
